PromSort-Tula LLC is introducing technology for lining the working layer of tundish ladles with dry masses, which guarantees the achievement of a low hydrogen content to ensure the specified mechanical properties during further processing of the produced rolled products by consumers. As a result of obtaining practical data and confirming the safety of operation of experimental ladles with dry masses, the third stage of testing on a larger volume of melts was completed. The use of dry masses when mastering the production of machine-building assortments increases the competitive attractiveness of the PromSort-Tula LLC company and allows achieving high production efficiency indicators by reducing labor costs and increasing the energy efficiency of production. Dry masses of tundish lining provide quick and efficient replacement of used lining, which allows reducing the time required to retrain the ladle for steel casting. The increase in hydrogen at the stage of continuous casting using dry masses is 1 ppm lower compared to the use of wet masses. PromSort-Tula LLC regularly supplies metal to both domestic and foreign market enterprises, which is used in mechanical engineering, construction and other branches of light and heavy industry.
